For Texans, when someone says Waco, it’s almost inevitable they would think of Baylor University, apparently a mass shooting and/or a correctional facility.
For Joanna Gaines, Waco is on the cusp of a turn around. It’s time for Waco to gain some good attention is her goal.
The Gaines’ have used Waco as their platform for growing their brand: Magnolia. They have truly renovated the whole town with their Magnolia Realty endeavors. They started flipping houses eventually buying a boutique shop and growth stemmed from there in the early 2000’s.
